I’m involved in Australian independent press projects in my “spare time” and am a teacher librarian by trade, with passing knowledge of many other things. I was the 2012 CBCA Book of the Year WA judge, 2014 CBCA Book of the Year Tasmanian judge, WA Premier’s Book Awards judge in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014/15, and  judging co-ordinator for the Aurealis Awards for several years, after a number of years on judging panels.
