30 Days of Books: Day 19

Day 19 – Favourite book cover (bonus points for posting an image!)

Oh, so many to choose from! Just a few that spring to mind:

Siren Beat by Tansy Rayner Roberts from Twelfth Planet Press

The covers for the JD Robb In Death series that we got here in Australia until the last couple of books (nasty publisher, by the way, to discontinue those!)

And I really love the covers for King Rolen’s Kin (which are similar to the Brett Weeks books, which I also loved the covers for!). King Rolen's Kin

And lots more – I WILL pick up a book and look at it based on its cover, so they are important! I might not buy it, but I will look closer if the cover pops!

If I’m being unbiased, then it’s Starry Rift, edited by Jonathan Strahan. Such a pretty book and a great collection of stories!

30 Days of Books: Day 15

Day 15 – Your “comfort” book

Ooh, tough one. It probably has to be something like the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton, or the In Death series from JD Robb. Those books tend to migrate to the top of my TBR pile/s and are the books I turn too when I’m overloaded on a particular genre (even when that genre is paranormal romance!!). I can read them anywhere, anytime.

Halfway!
